Child Support in Manitoba

Base support comes from the Federal Child Support Tables using the paying parent's income and number of children. These amounts are presumptive.

Beyond table amounts, parents share special expenses proportionally: childcare, health care, education, and extracurricular activities.

When children spend at least 40% time with each parent, the set-off approach applies. Each parent's table amount is calculated and the difference is paid.
